OOD 3.18.09

Today's outfit should be called "Ready for Spring" with a subtitle of "Okay, My Ankles Are Going to Be Very Cold But I Will Deal with It".

Actually, the snow has pretty much melted and the green of the tulips is visible and we are really really close... so I'm breaking out a sunny J Crew top from last year and some quilted patent flats with my black BR capris!  I am getting the kids to school, spending a couple of hours in the office, and then coming home to masses of laundry and ironing.  Oh, and possibly shopping J Crew online in light of the extra 20% off final sale code EXTRA20 that is now posted on their homepage.  Happy Wednesday everyone!

J Crew Links Print Cross Back Tissue Tank, J Crew outlet distressed denim jacket, Banana Republic capris, with Steve Madden flats & Nordstrom bag (both a little different than pictured in my Polyvore)

  1. OOOOHHH, this is so cute! It really does say "Spring" to me! Who cares about a little cool air on your ankles when you have a cute outfit on?

  3. Ok, everyday you look adorable, volunteer, take care of your kids, shop, work... how do you do it all? I feel like I am perpetually behind on everything - especially cleaning the house!

  6. Love the tank. I actually own that in the Bahia print. Looks like we both went J. Crew shopping last January (2008)? ;)

I hope you had a great day...you look fabulous!

  7. Thank you so much everyone! I love the links-print... it's so happy!

Mindy - thanks for the sweet comment :) I drink a LOT of coffee lol. Seriously, a lot of the time I feel overwhelmed. I only work in the office 5 to 8 hours a week, have a stack of ironing about 2 feet high, can barely walk through the kids' messy playroom, and my highlights should have been done 3 weeks ago. There's so much to take care of but I love it... most of the time! :)

  8. Love the outfit. I almost bought that tank at the outlet this past winter but the line was too long and I didn't feel like waiting. Sigh... You look great. I go cropped with ballet flats all the time and yes, it can be worth it to have cold ankles!!
