Just a really simple way to go: I hang them on pushpins on a corkboard I bought at Michael's. I have the corkboard propped up on a dresser in my closet but as soon as I have time for a little project I'm going to hang it on the closet wall, and then hopefully a smaller one near it with bracelets and all my hoopy earrings.
I really like having them like this - they don't get tangled and they are *visible* so I don't forget what I have and I can easily try them with outfits. I do keep some special/fancy/sentimental pieces in their boxes or in my jewelry chest, but this works perfectly for a lot of what I have. I actually do have a few necklaces that are still all tangled up from my days of shoving everything in the chest. I never got how they magically do that... but these don't anymore!
Thanks for the little peak inside your closet. Looks like a easy & simple way to go. love that h&m bracelet!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great tip for hanging and displaying necklaces. I've seen so many that are more complicated than I want (for example using chicken wire), and this is just so nice and easy! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteFantastic idea! Thank you for sharing with us! :)
ReplyDeleteExcellent idea! I need to do something like this.
ReplyDeleteI also saw in someone's blog a while back that they did something similar, but covered the bulletin board with fabric so they could hang it on the wall.
I don't have the wall space in my closet right now, so maybe I'll have to go with the adaptation!
What a GREAT idea! I love this!
ReplyDeleteVery cool. I love your turquoise & red multi strand necklaces. Where'd you get them?
ReplyDeletethanks ladies!
ReplyDeleteGigi - those are both from Old Navy! I ordered them a year or two ago online on a great sale... I want to say they were about $5 each, $10 at the most.
Just found this! What a great idea. I am going to copy it! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteWow! FFM posted a link to this, and I think it's a great idea!!!
