OOD 3.12.09

Today I'm giving my J Crew houndstooth bow-button cardigan another try.   I've never been quite sure what to do with it because of the bow closures so the couple of times I've worn it I just did a basic white or black tank/tee under and it felt a little boring.  But today: a couple of splashes of color - a red Old Navy necklace and a big yellow bag (both are slightly different than pictured in the Polyvore - my bag is Nordstrom brand).

This should see me from the morning volunteering at my girls' school to an early casual birthday dinner at some friends'.  I am *not* hitting the stores today - Gap f-i-n-a-l-l-y emailed me an online code for F&F this morning (yay!) so I will probably place an order this afternoon then check for any misses at my B&Ms over the weekend.  Happy Thursday!

  2. This outfit looks cute. I hope you feel better about your sweater after wearing it today. I have several pieces like that in my wardrobe. I really want to like them but I can't always seem to make them work!

  7. Very cute. I think your turquoise necklace would look good with this, too.
