OOD 4.29.09 Porcelain Green + Gray. And Tory Burch.

As soon as I get something new, I can't wait to wear it.  I've been thinking of ways to wear my new "Porcelain Green" (almost turquoise but more on the green side) cardi.  I'm spending a couple hours at the office this morning, than domestic things the rest of the day so I'm just putting it with a super comfy ON ribbed tank & jeans and my Michael Kors huaraches.  Easy and cas.

So...

The J Crew Red Cards expire in less than 48 hours and I am resolved to staying away from the Crew!  In fact, I have moved on!  Unfortunately, I have moved on to Tory Burch (and Kate Spade a little too).  Now, I am not a crazy spender - I really think about my purchases and I have a budget.  And right now that budget is seriously depleted and I will not be make any big purchases for a while... but a girl can look, right?  Oh my, oh my, check out these Tory Burch shoes!  I heart Tory Burch shoes.  I have three pairs, and the two pairs of flats (Reva and Reese)  fit me like a glove.  Love!  So here are some new ones that have caught my eye:
Tory Burch "Romy" Ballerina Flat in Latte/Arabian Pink - $235.

Tory Burch "Kelsey" Low Cork Wedge - $250.

Tory Burch Wedge Flip Flop - $55.

Tory Burch "Amber" Sandal - $195.

Tory Burch Flat "Reva" Espadrille - $195.

OK, time for me to leave DreamLand...  Happy Wednesday everyone!

  1. Loving the Low Cork Wedge! Not a huge fan of the espadrille, but I never have been.. I don't know what it is. Maybe the toe?

I don't have a pair of Tory Burch anything, but hope to invest in a pair of their classic flats one of these days.

  5. I love the look of Tory Burch shoes, haven't had luck finding a style that works for me. :(
I really wanted the espadrilles, but there is no arch support. I haven't tried the wedges though!
Have a good day in your green and gray! I have bookwork to do for my hubby too today, but I'll do it at home in my pj's!!!

  10. Hill - my husband can't stand to see espadrilles on me either, but I love them. It's definitely an issue of personal taste - seems like people either really like them or really don't!
Cate and mrs.a - me TOO! They are my favorite. And I love the color names: latte/arabian pink!
    Thanks Dina!
Jillle - wish I could; I get too distracted at home! And you know I watched RHONYC!! Oh my goodness... I was looking forward to seeing a beautiful renovation, maybe a little modern and trendy... I know they're cutting edge and all but I'm surprised even Silex went for all that deep dark red & black. Bordello is right on.
Julie - thanks! They are great shoes.
Lissa - too funny... I guess I never realized I was that bad - but I believe you!! :)
SGM - Me too... this is my dream summer shoe wardrobe!

  11. I love your Tory Burch choices! I want them all too! I have about 10 pairs of Tory Burch shoes but I have had major problems with the Reva's I own them in 4 colors and they always stretch out so badly that I can't wear them. I have even gone down half to even whole sizes to try to combat it but they still stretch out. I am happy you have not had this problem. It is just a shame because I really love those shoes.

  13. Staying away from Jcrew until expiration of the red card is a great idea (that I haven't followed, I did some serious damage today, I feel the pressure too much).

Love Tory, I own 2 pairs of shoes (one black Reva) and five or six other pieces. In NY we are lucky because there is a huge sample sale twice a year (the summer one is coming up soon!!!), so we get to buy Tory Burch for Jcrew prices. Now the problem is that I bought too much Jcrew and I have no funds left for the sample sale unless I return half of the stuff that I bought recently. Have to think about it.

  14. Summerilla - too bad about the stretching! I haven't noticed it with mine.
KatyO - I love that one too... hoping I can find something similar for less $ as I certainly cannot get all of these.
Ema - I would looooove to go to a TB sample sale. Wow. One of the many advantages of living in NYC!!

  15. Love the shoes!!! Way cute outfit, too! I am hoping to be a little over the Crew with the crewpon expiration. Really thinking the 30-day break in May would be a good idea...
