OOD 4.1.09 - A Peek of Pink

OK so yesterday I dressed for warmth and then guess what (except for the morning rain and windstorm that actually knocked out power some places) it was sunny and beautiful and really not that cold (in the afternoon). Well, that got me thinking springy, pretty colors.

When I think "pretty" in terms of color - pink often come to mind. So I've decided to break out my fun Raspberry Crinkle Flapper ballet flats from Jeffrey Campbell and wear a pink tee under my J Crew Katie cardigan. The pinks don't really match, but since it is just a little "peek" under the navy/ivory cardi, and the flats are rather variegated because of the texture, I think it works okay. If I had a more "raspberry" tank or tee I would probably do that.

I hope everyone is having a great week so far, and Happy April! On a side note, this is the month my baby boy turns FOUR and it's kind of hard watching your babies get so big so fast. The days are long, but the years are short, as they say. When I said the other day that I wasn't going to have a little three-year-old anymore, he sweetly told me "But I'm still YOURS!!!". How does such a little guy know just the right thing to say to his mommy? xoxoxo
