J Crew: My April New Arrivals List


I've put together a little Polyvore of the pieces that I will be looking for before the end of the month (and expiration of my Mickey card!).  I'm pretty sure I will love the tops but will definitely need to check the fit of the jacket, and the length of the skirt on me.  Also I'm hoping the dress a good fit - I never know - and that I can style with a long cardi I have in color Snow rather than purchasing the one in the Polyvore... it seems so similar.  
I will post some reviews after I get into the store!  Oh and Happy Friday!  I hope everyone is gearing up for a great weekend.

    I also liked the Ringspun Necklace Tee----check it out, in store. Really pretty, comes in gray and lavender. Happy Friday to all!! Yay!! I am gearing up for my little boy's (yes, he will always be my baby,right??!!) 2nd birthday party on Saturday..!!! Quite sappy moment for me and hubby.. he's growing so fast.

    I love your list! I like the gauze Tangiers tunic, looks like it will be a great beach cover/dress. The soft tee cardi in the tropical palm. I reeeally need a new bikini. Looks like there are some cute ones!

    I will check out the Tangiers tunic! I have been thinking about getting something like that... I could use some new swimwear too! And - thanks for the advice on tennis... I am sold!

    mrs.a : I like the ringspun so will definitely check it out! Happy Birthday to your little guy! Yes, he will always be your baby! Two is going to be a wonderful year, and you will just love him more and more! My little guy (now 4!) told me yesterday: "You are my heart." I just melt!! :)

    I like seeing what ppl like for the new release. I haven't seen anything I like and seeing what others are eyeing helps pieces stand out better for me. Though I don't see getting many items.

    I just bought the papaya jersey strapless dress today! I also bought it in the dark charcoal. I had to order the papaya on the red phone though, its the only color they didn't have in all 3 of the stores I checked. The fit was really amazing, I think your going to love it. I normally buy their dresses in a xs and sometimes they are a little too big up top but this fit perfectly.

    Summerilla - I also bought the dk charcoal today - love the fit of this!! No papaya at my store either.

    I am wanting the dressy jersey dress in papaya too, but want to at least try on for fit. Love, love the cotton swirl shell, is it not in the stores?

    Caliglam - I don't know... I was surprised when she said they weren't getting it because I think it will be a really popular item and it's featured right on the first two pages of the May catalog. It doesn't say "catalog/internet only" so it must be going to some stores. Maybe they will end up getting it...
