My newest Boden catalog arrived just the other day, reminding me that my pre-orders should be here any day now (this in Sealion Leopard and these in Navy) -- provided the stormy UK weather doesn't delay them too much.
The catalog also has an offer for 10% off plus FS/FR. If you like the Boden style, definitely get on their mailing list as they run frequent promotions like this (or even better) and you can use the "quick service number" printed on your catalog to get the deal.
I am loving their selection of tunics right now... they even have a separate little section set up for tunics/kaftans. The Polyvore below shows my top picks, which I really need to narrow down to one or two...
I'm picturing slim white capris or denim in white or a dark rinse under them (with the exception of the brown Glam Tunic and the pink/green Printed Tunic- those look like they should hold their own as dresses for me) with strappy silver or gold metallic sandals or ballet flats - something by Tory Burch would be perfect!

Those are really cute. I've never ordered anything from Boden before, but I've wanted to. How does the sizing run (or do the clothes fit similarly to a certain brand)?
ReplyDeleteManoloChooLou - they have just changed their sizing to include US sizes and I haven't ordered since they've done that. They have a good size chart - but even better: if you click on an individual garment you can get specific measurements in each size for that piece. So on the printed tunic, they'll give you the width at the chest, empire line, hem, and also sleeve length and overall length in every size. They have the best sizing help I've ever seen! In shoes I am almost always an 8 1/2 or 39 and their 39 has been perfect.

ReplyDeleteHow is the quality and sizing of Boden? I have recieved a few of their catalogs but never managed to pull the trigger due to lack of experience. Great choice on the tunics.

ReplyDeleteJenLynn - thanks :) -the quality is excellent - I've been really happy with what I've ordered as far as fabric, construction, detailing, everything. I haven't ordered anything for myself for awhile (except the Spring preorders which I haven't received yet) but I did just get some things for my son which were just the quality I was expecting. As far as sizing, I don't know about the US sizing they've just started - what I like to do is use their garment sizing info and then measure against similar things in my closet that fit well (garment sizing is shown under the particular item). I typically wear a 4 or Small in J Crew/ATL and have sizes 10 and 12 in Boden hanging in my closet - that's the old UK sizing though. Dina at My Superfluities blog writes quite a bit about Boden and even started a Boden Polyvore group so you may want to check out what she has to say about it too :)
