OOTD 2.12.10: Valentines Day Parties


I know I'm stepping back a holiday here... the stores are on to Easter now I'm sure... but I wanted to post what I wore to my girls' school parties on Friday. Many of the kids and moms were happily decked out in pink and red which to me is a really fun part of the holiday. That and the chocolate, of course. This outfit also features my new very-favorite-tee: the sailor boatneck from Lands' End.



ON jacket in Radiant Red (last year), LE striped sailor tee in navy, Vigoss jeans, La Scarpa Paris suede ballerinas in brown

Also, I picked up my March copy of InStyle last night, and they've featured a Lands' End jacket in bright yellow with some glen plaid trousers, patent flats, and a great looking tote - the Heritage Tote from LL Bean's new Signature collection - on page 210. I'm really liking the LE rain jackets this season too - still trying to decide between yellow and orange!

    I love your sailor tee! If you don't mind me asking, what size did you order yours in?

    I find LE sizing a bit inconsistent.

    This is adorable! I have the shirt in green stripes from last season & a jacket very similar so I'm going to have to try this look at home! hee hee! :)

    SO CUTE! I love this outfit and how the jacket plays against the navy stripes. Adorable! I ordered from Land's End with the weekend promo and picked up this same sailor tee and the ruffle front button down. Can't wait to try them out!

    Love this outfit too------i picked up a sailor stripe tee while they had the promotion, from LE, and I love it. It was only $15! I also saw the orange rain jacket at LE---I am a sucker for orange, but that's me:)

    Love the striped top...and seude ballet flats.
    I saw that cute jacket in In Style and thought it would make our Pacific Northwest rain much more FUN!
    I like the Heritage tote but prefer your LV...it's a classic.
