OK, I am wrapping up my series of Liberty for Target posts with my IRL try-ons. I am happy with everything and while the hunt was fun, it was a little tiring and I'm ready to enjoy my goodies. (Although first I need to clean up this house and catch up on the laundry that got a little neglected during the Liberty for Target Frenzy that was this weekend.) I have the Sugared Grapefruit candle burning right now and it is lovely.
Here are the clothes:
Ruffle Halter/Isis Print size M $19.99 - Dina said to size up on this and I did
(couldn't resist holding my matching cup)
Ruffle Halter/Dunclare Print size M $19.99
(again with the cup)
Top/Isis Print Size S $24.99
Tiered Ruffle Dress/Isis Print Size S $29.99
(I exchanged this for an XS because of the fullness of the ruffled skirt)
And this next one is from the girls' department - size XL. Again, great info from Dina that Girls' XL is fitting similarly to Women's S. This pic doesn't show the length but I am about 5'5" and it comes to my lower calf - right about to the top of the short Uggs I have on with it. Close-up of the double hem in the last pic.
Woven Dress Maxi Jumper/Jumper Size Girls XL $16.99
I hope everyone has had a lovely weekend! Off to clean the house and get ready for Monday!
xoxo
OMG, you with your matching top & teacup multiple times is just way too cute! So glad you are enjoying your LoL finds - they are fab on you!!
ReplyDeleteAwesome!
ReplyDeleteITA on being able to enjoy the purchases...I have been feeling tired these past few days...must be the hunt!!! LOL over LoL. :)
ReplyDeleteYou look so pretty in all of them! I am very pleased with the girls' selection, well made and very flattering!
i agree with heidi---matching your cups with your tops, how adorable!! i really love the second, pink top and the tunic-----how pretty. I am hoping for the tunic, a mug, and a bag or wallet. I'll let you know what i find, tomorrow!!
ReplyDeleteWow...thank you for sharing. I think I need to head to Target. Those matching cups are really cute. I would want to walk around with them at work all day long! :)
ReplyDeletecute, cute, cute. I love the first pic...that top has my name all over it
ReplyDeleteWow, you found so many good things and they all scream spring!! Totally convincing me to head to my local Tarjay...
ReplyDeleteOK, me you and Dina can all be twinsies! I think we all got the exact same things! haha - I love it! Too bad we are not IRL friends.
ReplyDeleteI love your cup and shirt pics too! Everything looks super on you! Love it all. I am just not feeling the tunic on me, but it looks so cute on you and Dina and on the celebrity in the PopUp Shop, so maybe I'll keep (peer pressure).
It's funny you mention being tired- I'm beat and I know it's the hunt and going so many times. It was nice this morning to sit back and be selective as I was only waiting for the wallet and men's shirts. The other gals were going nuts- some filling 3 carts for resale on ebay and it made me sad. Why not leave a little for every one. Now the same things are already on ebay for double the price. I should have taken a picture to post on my blog!
CHeers to LOL and the fun we've had!
Gorgeous! Love the peacock top! And it looks soooo expensive!
ReplyDeleteAdorable! Almost everything is sold out online, so you did it right.
ReplyDeleteLove the peacock print top. You mentioned that you sized up. Would you recommend everyone does? I was reading some of the reviews online and they're mixed on that point.
ReplyDeleteGreat stuff!! Love the mugs and the Peacock top is really pretty on you....all the other stuff too!
ReplyDeleteGood shopping.
I ordered some Lands End cardigans the other day. I found a few in the sale section. I am in love with them all of a sudden....again... Just so well made. Still need the Tretorns and may go get or order them today.
Talk to you later...
Beth
Loooove the liberty collection. I need to go to my Target and see if I can snag some of that great stuff!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love all of your picks! So cute. I'm also wondering about the sizing for the ruffle halter tops. I tried on the medium and they felt a little big under the arms and around the waste. I don't know if small would be too small, because they didn't have one to try on.
ReplyDeleteLove the Dunclare print.
ReplyDeletethank you everyone!
ReplyDeleteMichelle and Jille - there isn't too big of a difference between the two - Jillle, it sounds like you'd be fine with the small. It was too tight on me in those two areas, and while I could have squeezed lol, I'm more comfortable in the Medium. I think Dina's advice to go one size up from your usual J Crew t shirt size is good.
Peggy - Yes! I Love it! I like your "cheers to the fun" :) It was! I am wearing the tunic today - love it! And after I read Pamela's blog I went and tried on a smaller size in the peacock dress and got that so I'll return the other. After I read your comment I went and looked at ebay - oh MY! Yes I saw multiples of same items/color - some people must have bought out their store which does bug b/c then some lady walks in to buy one for herself and they are all gone. I also saw some insane pricing! I hope they don't go for those prices on ebay and get returned to stores. I know free market and all but something about it just seems artificial/not right. Everyone I saw in my store seemed to just be buying for themselves.
ReplyDeleteHey....I just ordered my Tretorns!! do you still love yours? My daughter has a pair too. We match!!
ReplyDeleteLet me know what's up with all your new goods! It's all so cute. Enjoying your blog as always.
Beth
Your things look adorable on. I finally found the mugs today so I'm a happy camper.
ReplyDeleteOh, you mentioned getting a scarf in one of your posts. Which one?
Beth - YAY! Yes I do love them. It seem like forever I have just been wearing ballet flats alternating w/sandals in summer and Uggs the rest of the year (it IS Seattle) so they are a fun change. My 4 yr old son said they were boy shoes but I think they are so cute! Too fun you can match your daughter! :) I did buy some more LoL today, can you believe it - but they had frames out, which they didn't before, and that big melamine tray that's sold out online. I was really there just to exchange a dress and buy puppy treats but I couldn't help perusing under the pink butterflies since I was there!
ReplyDeletePhyllis - thank you! I am very happy with everything. Glad you got your mugs! The scarf I got was the pieced scarf in Jeffs Leaf Blue Catalog #: 12063029. Hopefully I can work it into an OOTD soon :)
Oh, my! I am now leaving for Target! See ya!
ReplyDeleteI managed to get some Liberty action too! I'll be blogging about it very soon....I now wished that I had really searched the departments for ALL the Liberty goods...I had no idea they had so much!
ReplyDeleteI say keep on shopping...and keep us in the loop!
I just found your blog while searching for Liberty stuff. I am totally addicted to it and am buying more every day. Soon it will all be gone and I will be so sad. I enjoyed your posts about the clothes. It made me want even more!
