OOTD 11.2.09 - Melon + Shiny


I wore my new Tory Burch Reese flats for the first time on Monday - these shoes are so incredibly comfy.  Seriously like slippers.  I had them on the whole day and they felt great. 



J Crew merino Portland cardi in melon, Eddie Bauer Christine blouse in ivory, Vigoss jeans, TB Reese in gold metallic, Anthropologie Petite Pastry Drop earrings in yellow

    Nancy - thanks :) I usually wear a 4 or S in J Crew tops/sweaters and I was between a Small & Medium in the Christine - went with the Medium. It's a little loose but more comfortable than the Sm was.

    okay, I like I love that color, could you pair black with it or is it too bright though? I've seen it on ebay and can't decide if I should buy it. How bright is it in person? I am a pale, pale blonde. TIA!

    thanks everybody! if you missed out on sizes this sale, there may be more of the Reese in future seasons. I bought the cricket green ones last year on sale at Nordstrom Rack.
    Victoria - it's a pretty bright melon - not neon, obviously, but not at all pastel. I think it would be a great color for someone with blonde hair. I like it best worn with browns or navy, but I think it would also be fine with black. hope this helps :)
