**update 11/25/11**
The dress is Hugo Boss. I found it on the blog Stylish Mary, thank you!
The Duchess of Cambridge's outfit choices are quite the buzz these days (What Kate Wore /@whatkatewore is one of my faves to check in on) ...but here in the US we don't hear as much about what HRH Crown Princess Mary of Denmark is wearing. She puts together some beautiful ensembles.
Today was her son Christian's first day of school and here are a couple pics of her outfit for the occasion... I love the gray flats (Lanvin?) and light, flowy dress, belted. Anyone recognize designers?

She is perfection. I also adore Maxima of the Netherlands!
ReplyDeleteLove all the neutrals - very chic!
ReplyDeleteBeen trying to post on your blog for weeks... had to finally resort to opening a new account.. lets see if this works.
ReplyDeleteSorry... that was just a test. :-) American in Norway here.. As always love your clothes.. Princess Mary is gorgeous.. & love her style. Do you have any idea why I can no longer comment with my Blogger ID? Have you changed settings or is it just me? :-( Still reading you everyday.. :-)
ReplyDeleteHi Gracie Beth & Stephanie - thanks for stopping by :)
ReplyDeleteamericaninnorway - oh no! No... I don't know. I haven't changed my comment settings or adjusted anything; only changed the header & added a gadget but I've done that lots of times. I have read on Twitter about people having problems commenting on blogs but I don't know why. Hope you don't have any more problems with it.
I agree, very feminine and elegant.
ReplyDeletePicture perfect. And isn't she American by birth? I wonder why we don't get more press about her here.
ReplyDeleteAs for the fashion, those do look like those famous Lanvin flats to me. Love that shirtdress as well, though I can't place the designer.
She is beautiful...timelessly classic...my greatest wish for myself!
ReplyDeleteLegallyblondemel - She's from Australia -- I think Tasmania? I wish I could figure out the dress. With Kate it's easier because she sticks with so many British designers. I've seen Mary in Chanel, Prada etc... and I don't know the Danish designers that well. I think it's Denmark's fashion week right around now - I should try to get more info on that:)
ReplyDeleteShe looks so effortless and feminine! Lovely!
ReplyDeleteLove her dress and how cute and preppy her son is!
