On Friday night I went to see Love Happens with some girlfriends and my main takeaway from that movie is Jennifer Aniston's wardrobe... the boots, scarves, jackets and hats! Of course that movie takes place in Seattle and she is dressed perfectly for our cool weather and casual vibe.
So last night I brought out an old pashmina (purchased 10+ years ago in Paris) and I can't wait to bring out some other cozy scarves. Since it was handy, I threw it on again this morning.
Here I am today:
J Crew gold metallic cardi, ON tee, Vigoss jeans, Paolo leopard flats, blue scarf from little shop in Paris
And last night when we ran out for a quick dinner at Macaroni Grill:
ATL corduroy blazer in brown, Target tank in melon, the blue scarf, nude La Scarpa flats from Paris this past summer
I have been thinking about and researching for (read: shopping for) my flats post which also inspired me to get my shoes a little better organized which has turned into a little project in my closet. But I hope to get it all put together soon! I also want to recognize a lovely blogger who gave me an award and that does deserve its own post also.
Hope everyone's week is off to a good start!
xoxo
Love the scarves! I am all about scarves when it gets chilly outside - and I find that the old pashminas makes some of the best scarves - cozy, cuddly, but not too heavy or overpowering.
ReplyDeleteLove the scarf. I always have trouble making them look that good. You need to do a step-by-step of your scarf "design".
ReplyDeleteGreat scarf. I'm looking forward to your flats post!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the leopard flats in your first outfit!! where did you get those?? im looking for some cute, affordable leopard flats, so if you see any......
ReplyDeleteLOVE the ATL brown blazer, is that a recent purchase? You look adorable, in both outfits with the comfy, blue scarf!! Thanks for posting your OOTD's!!!
Again, loving the brown/orange combo...you have inspired me to put together some brown/orange outfits:)
ReplyDeleteYou look so chic and I just adore the leopard flats in the first outfit! :)
ReplyDeleteI am a scarf fanatic - I really think they can make an outfit. My favorite is when it's just slightly cool and you can pair a long sleeve tee with a bright scarf.
ReplyDeleteI dug out all of my pashminas last night so I am looking forward to wearing them again! I love your leopard shoes!
ReplyDeleteLove both outfits! I too took out a scarf today for the first time this season. I also love the ATL blazer. Is it a new purchase?
ReplyDeleteyou look so chic!!
ReplyDeletemrs.a and Amanda - the blazer is from last year. I think I recall seeing something similar recently though :)
ReplyDeleteoh and the leopard shoes are from Nordstrom - they were a Christmas gift last year.
ReplyDeleteDishy Decorator - thanks! That reminds me I actually had said I would do a scarf tying post sometime last Spring with my Hermes scarves. I need to get that together now that I'm pulling out more scarves! :)
ReplyDeleteHeidi- totally agree. thanks for stopping by! :)
Open Letter, ABC, Suburban Princess & Patina - thank you so much!!
Summerilla - love that look too :)
