They just arrived. Love this boot!
I sized up 1/2 a size. Usually I wear an 8 1/2 and I went with a 9 after reading some reviews on endless.com. My heel does move up a little bit in the back when I walk but I really like to have my tall boots a little roomy - especially if there is no side zipper - otherwise I start to feel a little claustrophobic.
One interesting note, the right boot is just slightly bigger than the left one. A little longer and also wider at my foot. I did check and they both say size 9.
The boot is a little stiff around the top of the foot/heel but not enough to be a bother to me - maybe because I sized up. It is very roomy in the ankle area and the leather has a wrinkly, slouchy, grainy look to it. The buckle at the side is adjustable.
The color is gorgeous! I've mentioned before how I tend to buy colors to wear that I've used to decorate my house - and I did notice looking at my pics that they kind of match my floors.

ReplyDeleteMost people have one foot slightly bigger than the other...so it isnt the boot, it's your feet :o)
Okay, love these!! Like i said, i bought some very similar boots from Target recently, "Kady" boots in cognac, so I cannot wait to see how you style these/outfits you plan on with these boots:)

I had alllmost bought them a thousand times, but the endless.com deal you posted about was the best I had ever seen. My boots arrived today and I could have written the same post you did, word for word, down to the size info, ha! I love the boots too and the color is my favorite part. Suburban Princess - this time it actually is the boot! If you hold the soles together one is obviously a tad longer than the other and it is also wider across the top of the foot where it is sewn together.
Those are beautiful boots, I really love the color. Very good pick!
