Laduree Paris (Champs Elysees)

This place is absolutely amazing! We had lunch and made a few purchases... but I am thinking I need to go back for a couple more things (for one thing, I didn't see the candles until after we left - in a window display). It was soooo crowded and soooo hard to choose.

I will let the photos speak for themselves!

  1. I LOVE Laduree macarons! I always go there when I'm in Paris (but mostly at the "rive gauche" location near St. Germain des Pres).

  7. Our local tea shoppe had the macaroons last summer (imported from France!) and they are delicious! I loved the texture of crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside! Lucky you!

  9. Wow, I love your blog and this is the first time I make a comment because those macarons makes my mouth watering!!!! I also need some help, I was following The violet Diary but for some reason when I try to go in it says that the blog is for reades only and by invitation...I'm so sad because I don't know how to contact her?! I love her recipes and I've being following her a long time...do you know how could I contact her?
    Thanks a lot

  10. Ooh Laduree - my favorite place in Paris! Be sure to pick up a couple of their tote bags when you go back. I love the black design and also the iconic pale green. You won't regret it - a great souvenir to bring home and they make for fun gifts.
Also, take the family to Cafe Angelina on Rue de Rivoli (near Hotel Meurice) for the most amazing hot chocolate you will ever taste (the pastries aren't too shabby either!). Coco Chanel used to dine there...
Happy continued travels. You look fab!!

  12. Andrea - thank you! The same thing is happening to me - it appears she has gone private for a while? I'm sorry I don't have contact info either.
Belinda - I did get one tote bag - the lavender... went back and got more macaroons and some violet tea too :) Angelina was on my list but we didn't make it... lots of fun dining anyway though!
