Orlando, Day 1

Well, we made it through the day-long travel yesterday and I managed only to forget toothbrushes (Hubby packed 4 extra that I had just bought for at-home back-ups. Smart.) and car seats (we now have three more booster seats). Not too bad for how hectic everything has been.

I am blogging from my husband's laptop which has quite a different photo program (I use a mac), and it's going rather slowly, so I will probably catch up on posting about the hotel (Ritz Carlton Grande Lakes), which is beautiful, the surprise visit to Disney we are planning for the kids tomorrow, and my brief shopping excursion to the J Crew outlet this evening, after we get back.

I hope everyone has had a nice Memorial Day weekend.

xoxo

  1. Cute outfit. I never would have thought it came from Target.

  2. Only you could put Taget and the Ritz together.
    So sorry about your grandfather.

Thanks for keeping us updated while you are on the road.

  3. The girls look so cute. I love their sandals. The Target madras is fantastic. Be sure to check out perfect fit crewneck & v-neck tees ($14.50) at J Crew outlet if you need some. I found them to be more substantial than the b&m perfect fit tee.

  5. So cute! Love the Lilly dresses on the girls. Love your Target outfit - I need to remember to look at that skirt next time I am there, but I suspect it might be too short on me. Glad you all are enjoying the trip, in spite of the circumstances. I guess that falls under making lemonade, huh?

  10. You look perfect for a Florida day--and I love the girls in their Lillys! My older girls are exactly the same age as yours, I think...8 in Sept, and 6 in July...but just a year apart in school, which I thought I would not like but it's working out great! I'm sure it's an emotional week for your family, but but hope you will have some good family memories too.
