Hello, Reva!

My new Revas just arrived from shopbop!

... now I know these are a pretty basic combination (black/gold), and who is buying black flats right now anyway, but I am so happy to have them!  I'll wear them a little now (and on the Paris trip) and then lots and lots and lots in the Fall.  TB ballet flats fit me a like a glove and up till now I'd only had them in orange suede and bright cricket green (plus the Amy pump in brown, which is a similar style with a bit of a chunky heel)... so these are a perfect addition to my shoe collection.

Next shoe wish... the metallic gold Reva espadrilles!

  1. Yeah! New Reva's I think if I repurchase any that no longer fit it will probably be those. I loved my black/gold combo's and wore them all the time.

Also, I nominated you for a blog award. Go to my blog to claim it! I love your blog.

  8. thank you all! And Thanks Summer! How sweet of you! :)
Ashley and Stephanie - I find them to be TTS. I wear an 8 1/2 in J Crew, Coach, Steve Madden, Target, etc etc and I have 4 pairs of TBs in an 8 1/2 that fit great. Which confuses me because you will see on some websites that the Revas run big and to size down half a size. If I bought an 8 in these they would be way too tight. They are snug on the sides but comfy snug (and the perfect length IMO) and it is that really soft leather. My feet are a little wide but I am fine with M widths. I don't get the size down advice but I've seen it quite a bit - maybe if your foot is more narrow?

  9. thanks for the sizing info! i saw that on shopbob to size down. then i kept googling whether or not to sd and people were like "yeah sd" or "no tts".. so im going to take your advice and go tts. thanks so much! lucky you have 4 pairs!!!

  10. love them....i got them as a gift...i usually wear an 8 but had to get 8.5, the 8 was too snug...they either run tts or go up half a size...a few of my friends own them and none had to go down a size

  11. Milly - thanks for the input on sizing! I am glad to see I am not crazy in finding no need to size down on these.
ashley - I have been really analyzing the fit of these all morning and I do notice a smidge of room in the back of the heel... the low part... but it is elasticized at the top so I do not have any slipping at all - it is a nice comfy fit... and in the front of the shoe it is definitely snug and perfect in length and width. I know that Summerilla has had some issues with stretching - and it is definitely a butter soft leather.
