OOTD 9.29.11 {featuring the L.K. Bennett Maddox}

I had one of the best shopping days the day I bought these shoes at L.K. Bennett in Atlanta. I had been waiting and waiting to see LKB in person and the store at Phipps was delightful in every way... friendly and helpful sales associates, easy to shop, and beautiful merchandise. I bought two more pairs in addition to the Maddox in Pink-Dusk suede and I will get a post up on that shopping trip soon.

Here's their first wearing, today:

J Crew Crocodile Cocktail Jacket (a couple years ago), Loft top in dark gray, Loft pants in black, L.K. Bennett Maddox in Pink-Dusk, custom citrine/gold earrings & necklace, Gucci Oversized Fade sunglasses

Have you checked out or shopped L.K. Bennett in store or online? What did you think?

xoxo

  2. They look great on you. I found them to be really uncomfortable when I tried them on. I got the Zahara wedges (I think that's the name) back in May. I am so glad that I did bc they sold out right away. Overall I have 3 pairs of LK Bennett shoes and I love them all. They do pink/blush colors like no other.

  3. ooohh! These are really nice! Wear them while you can, WA is a bummer for suede. :) I checked around their site a bit & I see some handbags I like too!

    Cheers!

  5. Hello! (again)
    Sorry to post again...but, I see on your list that you just bought a Chanel foundation...is this color a good match? I don't live near a Chanel counter & I have a love/hate relationship with Chanel foundations...they are always too dark! I'm quite fair...but judging from your photos, I wouldn't say I'm much fairer than you are...so...anyway, I guess I'm asking if this color is a good match for you?? Is the foundation sheer?

    Thank you!

  6. Hi lottie! I love this foundation - this will be my second bottle. The SA at Nordstrom chose the color Cendre for me. There are some different Lumieres and I've heard good things. I believe Megan at Pretty in Pink Megan and Shasta have done reviews (maybe even vlogs?)... not on the Mat but another formulation. Mat was the right one for me though. I am pretty fair but slightly olive-y too and tan easily so I'm not sure... I would say it is medium coverage. Let me know if you want me to try to look up links for the reviews I mentioned! (I apply with a Sephora mineral powder #45 brush and it is the perfect combo.)

  8. They are beauties, they have beautiful shoes, I absolutely love suede but with our rain, they aren't a great buy, I have two pairs of suede shoes that go out on dry days!

  9. thank you Rose!
    Bourbon & Pearls - I know, with our usual weather I have no business buying many suede shoes! I was too taken with these.
