Wearing...

Whew.  I've been offline for awhile. Despite a flu shot, I apparently succumbed this year and have been sick for over two weeks. I finally realized that if one of my children were feeling this way I would get them to a doctor. So, now, after a couple days of antibiotics, an inhaler, and heavy duty prescription cough syrup, I feel I am finally starting to come out of it.

There are lots of posts that I thought about during this time but I wasn't putting together very coherent thoughts or getting to the computer.  I think I'm back now.

And PSA... also during this time, my husband had a horrific bicycle accident.  No car involved (though you wouldn't know it to see him) and luckily only serious damage to one arm, though we are dealing with complications.  He was wearing his helmet and I just cringe now if I see a biker without one. Wear your helmet and be careful out there!

Here are some outfit pics I snapped from before I went into yoga pants and tee shirt mode with all of the above.  I'll be happy to get back into my white jeans, brights and Spring shoes again soon:

7FAM denim (last year), Loft top & cardi (last year), LK Bennett Alessia Sandal in Tan

Loft jacket, Paige denim, LK Bennett Maddox Shoe in Light Taupe

J Crew Linen cable-knit sweater in Caribbean Green

  4. Welcome back and I'm glad you're feeling better! This has been a rough year for bicyclists - my BF's co-worker broke both arms a few months ago in an off-road bike accident and prior to that, another one of this associates broke a leg biking!

  9. Bad flu is the worst! That was me last year.

Glad your husband is on the mend. My sister was working in the ER last month and said wearing a helmet is truly the difference between life and death in so many bike accidents!
