So yesterday morning I was feeling like I really had it pretty well together. I did my make-up, curled my hair, and was 5 minutes early for a 7:00am meeting. I even noticed the toothpaste on my sweater and cleaned it off before I left the house.
But then a first grader in my son's class kindly pointed out this to me:
Yes. I rocked the two-different-color-shoes-look to bank, grocery store, office and school yesterday.
Hope everyone's having a nice week. If your shoes match, I'd say you're off to a good start.
xoxo
OMG, this is just so funny, and I'm laughing with you, not at you. ;) I've mismatched socks, but not shoes. Yet.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a less traumatic footwear day ahead!
Ah yes...and you have another pair just like those at home!
ReplyDeleteToo funny...
Too funny! Another reason not to buy multiples!
ReplyDeleteThat is awesome. Thanks for the giggle. :)
ReplyDeleteI once wore a sweater inside out to work :o
ReplyDeleteLOL!!!! Sooo funny!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is hilarious. No doubt you gave folks a good smile
ReplyDeleteHelen xx
LOL! ;)
ReplyDelete*LOL*
ReplyDeleteI am guilty of doing that with navy and black ballet flats. Too funny!
ReplyDeleteTotally understandable mistake if the lighting wasn't bright enough to see the colours properly! :)
ReplyDeleteOh, friend. I'm so sorry - we've all been there. Most recently I left the house in my sketchy soccer sandals instead of the Revas I could have sworn I was wearing. Um, yeah.
ReplyDeletehaha oh my goodness, I have two pairs of just the black tory burch revas, one with gold emblem, one with silver, and I always worry that I will walk out wearing one of each. Those two boots are so close that I can definitely see how you could have just grabbed the wrong one on accident. But, it could be worse, you could have been just packing shoes and grabbed two left shoes or something!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the laugh! Last Thursday I went to work wearing two entirely different style loafers, one a pair of navy Fryes and the other a gray snakeskin Cole Haan! It took me four hours to notice and actually no one else did, go figure. I have to blame the darkness at 7:00 AM, thank goodness for the end of daylight savings time!
ReplyDeleteYou made the first grader's day for sure! Meetings at 7am - sounds impressive to me.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice day!
Wow, I'm just glad to know that you're HUMAN! Mismatched Uggs and a little dab of toothpaste on your sweater-- you are adorable! (I'm also impressed that you could be early for a 7am meeting!)
ReplyDeleteBeen there, done that. My sin was with one navy and one black dress shoe (pumps, back in my banker days). It was brought to my attention in the locker room at the Y - AFTER work! I saw clients, etc all day in mismatched shoes. Ooops...here's to a great weekend! :-) XOXO
