Back! {sort of}

We are back from Europe and I have quite a lot of (well over 1000) pictures to sort through and so many impressions and stories. I was able to get a little video of some of our crazy drives through Italy but haven't been able to successfully upload them yet. (Let me just say we were thankful we purchased the extra, full coverage insurance... and my husband must have nerves of steel because there were times, if I were driving, I would have wanted to just pull the car over, cry, and call the rental agency to come pick it up when they could.)

We're still on the East Coast, though, and heading to Florida today for a beach holiday with family... so it'll most likely be a week or so into August when we are back home in the Pacific Northwest before I can put together some posts.

For now, here's a quick Polyvore I put together since I was up before 5am and playing on the site a little this morning (jet lag not quite conquered yet).

Happy Monday!

xoxo

  6. Dear Sparrows & Sparkles,
    so you are back safely! I do like the tranquil way that Americans drive (our son and daughter-in-law are on their 7 weeks-honeymoon in the USA - in an open Camaro!)
    In Europe there is a lot of too quick driving with very pushy people, that is dangerous. Italy and France are more vivid than Germany - but the very most reckless driving (had almost nervous breakdown) I met in Poland. And I don't understand: why? To risk health and life for a few minutes to arrive earlier? Why?
    I am wating for your pictures! Britta
