Target Shoe Stock Up {+ Odell IRL}

Odell Floral Ballet Flat - Multicolor - $12.99
Target's shoe, Target's pic

Target is having a "shoe stock up" promo online - buy one, get one 50% off - and they happen to have some really cute new Spring styles out right now. Shipping is also free if you spend $50.

I tried on the Odell in a pretty floral print on Saturday. It felt rather wide and a little stiff/non-supportive, but for the price I think they would make a cute addition to an outfit for a few hours at a time or hanging out at home.

The Odell is also available in lots of solid colors, Cheetah, Zebra, and a really cute mod print.

Here are a couple IRL snaps from Saturday:

OOTD 3.7.10 {featuring Old Navy's $20 shawl collar cardi}

On Saturday I bought this cardi at Old Navy (promo'd to $20 from $26.50), so of course I wore it out for an early dinner on Sunday. (Mine is definitely ivory - marshmallow white is the closest color I see online but I don't know that that's it.)

I wanted a longer length ivory cardigan to replace a J Crew version that I have worn for the last year or two. On the way to the laundry room for some intense stain treatment for something on the arm, I noticed a hole in the back. So that was that. It was starting to look pretty worn after a couple of years' wear anyway - which really doesn't seem right for J Crew's pricing. The knit of this Old Navy cardigan is similar to the J Crew one I had. It is a thin knit - nice for Spring - and very soft and nicely woven and constructed. A good deal at $20 for sure. All the Smalls were gone, so I bought a Medium. You can see in the pics that it definitely has that boyfriend/grandpa cardi slouchy fit. If I get another color, I'll get it in my usual size. I've read reviews that say to even size down.

Old Navy also had scarves on sale for $8... and some pretty cute ones at that! I got this one:

International Coffee (Cups)

I happened upon this great set of stacking cups at World Market this past weekend. I really like coffee/tea cups and I tend to get them as souvenirs when we travel (I know - not the easiest thing to transport), as well as buying ones just for the cuteness factor (hello, Lilly Pulitzer).

Cannot wait for Target's Liberty of London line, by the way. That teapot! ::sigh::

Also, we love to travel and lately I've been kind of missing our expat experience and traveling time in Asia. When I realized that my husband and I had visited each city in the set together (before kids) - I couldn't pass it up. Plus, they're priced really reasonably - can't remember exactly but around $15 or so for the set.

They also have some larger cups (which are more appropriate for my morning coffee consumption) and I have one of those in Paris. I remember seeing San Francisco too. These are also nicely priced - I want to say around $6.

Happy Monday!

Super Cute Spring Jammies {Nick & Nora for Target}

Bunnies serving up plum jam and hiding under teacups? Yes, please!

I went in for garbage bags and toothpaste, and came out with three of the cutest pairs of jammies. Isn't that how it is at Target?

I have some of Nick and Nora for Target's flannel sleepwear from a year or two ago and I must say they've held up better than similar PJ Salvage from Nordstrom purchased around the same time. These are very nice quality, priced well, and cute-as-can-be!

Here's what I picked up today:

"bunnies" pj set pink/255112 (woven 100% cotton) $24.99

"fuschia arabesque" pj set blue/255112 (woven 100% cotton) $24.99

cute ruffle hem

"bunnies lamb" pj set white/252399 (95% cotton/5% spandex knit) $21.99

way too much vintage-y cuteness!

I also tried on a couple other cute things and bought one of the new Liberty of London dresses... more posts on Target next week!

Happy Weekend!

OOTD 3.4.10: White + Blue + Brown

I really like the comfort of a sweatshirty-material cardigan and a soft jersey scarf on a busy day. I have on a lot of white for Winter so I added some soft blue & brown - love those two colors together.

J Crew cardigan, ON tee, ON scarf
I purchased the watch last year in the girls department at Nordstrom - I believe they are still carrying them (or similar) in a variety of colors - my daughter has it in turquoise

OOTD 3.3.10: Dotty Navy + Pewter

I would love some yellow flats with this outfit - but I don't have any. So... wearing the gorgeous Boden Embellished Flats again today.

OOTD 2.26.10: More Bright Green {+ LE shoes on sale!}

I received some comments on Lands' End's Fine Gauge Cotton Shell in Soft Fern looking brighter IRL than on their website... Yes! if you haven't seen the cardis and shells in person, most do look much brighter to me in person - the coral and red and orange also. Definitely not the muted shades we're seeing at other retailers like J Crew and Ann Taylor Loft.

A few days ago I wore the cardi - here is a polyvore and a couple snaps:

Lands' End cardi, Lands' End scarf, Vigoss jeans, Tory Burch Reese ballet flats in gold

Tory Burch tassles, by the way: puppy magnets. We are so ready to start some puppy kindergarten!

And - Lands' End currently has their shoes promo'd at 30% off (online only, good through Thursday, March 4th). Code SHOE30, Pin 1122 - this is also on the homepage of their site.

Happy Tuesday!
