The New Louis Vuitton Sistina {+ more}

So I get a tweet yesterday that Louis Vuitton's Sistina is available online and in all stores now.  I love the shape and hardware on this bag!  I do love the Damier print with that gorgeous red lining, and already have a Speedy in it - but this is sooooo different!  The tweet got me perusing the LV website and, while a Keepall was already on my wishlist, I may have added a couple more:

The ever-classic Alma - in Rose Pop Vernis or Bleu Nuit Vernis - either would be fine!

The Totally in Damier Azur - I love that this has a top zip.  Would be a great summer tote!

And of course the classic Keep-All!

Alright, time to leave DreamLand!  I'm saving up my money for a couple upcoming trips where I know there will be shopping involved!  Anyone else have a handbag wishlist they're working on?!

Sun & Sand

No, I'm not lounging at the beach, but today I've been reminded of gorgeous days spent in the surf.

I'd never bought Yankee Candles before, but I was in Hallmark and saw a wall of them, and just couldn't resist Sun & Sand and Beach Walk. Yankee describes S&S as "sweet orange flower, lemony citrus, fresh lavender, and powdery musk"... to me it just smells like Florida! And suntan lotion. Beach Walk is salt water and citrus. A perfect combo.

I came home with some really cute things from Anthropologie on Saturday!  Oftentimes I see some great jewelry online and then can't find anything in-store but I found four great pairs of earrings, plus a couple sale tops, and a dress I just love!  Snaps below:

OOD 8.2.09 {yes, more Target}

I forgot to post about this knit dress I purchased at Target on Saturday - I can't find it online and Hubs threw out the tag (he didn't understand the importance of a clothing tag sitting on the desk by the computer, apparently) but it was around $24.99 and is available in-store in this purple, gray, black, and a bright peacock blue.  I think they're a pretty recent arrival.

Since it is air conditioned in church, I quickly threw on a J Crew Jackie... couldn't find a cardi in ivory or white (it's been so so hot as I've been tweeting on quite a bit - so not much laundry has been going on around here) so I went with the desert brown and ended up really liking the dusty brown with the soft purple... Fall colors but soft Fall colors.  The sandals are Steve Madden Seeris in Gold which I've ended up wearing a lot this summer.

Checking Out the J Crew New Arrivals

Well, the store changed quite a bit from last week!  New arrivals everywhere... and no sale merchandise on the floor at all that I could see.

I saw some gorgeous jewelry I'm considering (need to narrow it down) but high on my list is the gorgeous bracelet that summer posted about here (the second bracelet with the sparkly shapes hanging off the chain).  I don't see it online.  I also love some of the necklaces of course.  I saw an interesting way to wear the Libretto - on one mannequin they had it backwards so the bow tie was in the front, high up on the neck, and the sparkles were in back.

I loved the "Blair top" (I believe Petunia came up with this name - I like it better than "Ribbon Front Top") but my size was gone!  They still had every other size though, it looked like.  So a couple try-on snaps of the Eden blazer and the Frances top are below - both size 4:  I think I will end up getting both of these in some color.

I also LOVE, love, love the ballet flats this season.  The Marjorie suede flats are a gorgeous gray (I've been looking for a gray flat) and I also like the satin contrast trim, the Sallys and all that crackle-metallic - not to mention that beautiful tortoise patent.  Again, time to narrow it down!

I had success at Anthropologie after my J Crew visit - coming home with a beautiful dress, a couple tops, and four pairs of earrings.  I'll get some reviews and pics of those up soon!

OOD 8.1.09 - Target Ballet Wrap

It's finally cooled down a little - high 80's, low 90's expected with a nice breeze... so for Saturday shopping this morning I wore my new ballet wrap sweater from Target with a simple lt. pink tank that I also bought there recently for $6. This Mossimo cardi is super soft & I love the wrap/tie and elbow length sleeves. I can't find it online but the tag says Wrap Cardigan/Brown/223791, they are $22.99, and there were two or three other colors in-store. Interior snaps on both sides hold it in place.

I had a great shopping trip to Anthropologie this morning, and also did a couple of try-ons at J Crew and snapped some pics in the fitting room... so I'll have a couple of posts on all that in a day or two! xoxo
