Zara Blazer with Golden Buttons

Another blazer win for Zara this season.  This one arrived recently and again I am so happy with it that I have a very similar one in navy on the way.  The textured fabric is a silky soft cotton/linen/polyester/elastane blend.  It is fully lined with extra buttons sewn inside.  The care instructions say Do Not Wash/Do Not Bleach/No Tumble Dry.  Made in Morocco.

Crown Princess Mary of Denmark wore this one in London recently - you can see pics here and here.  If anyone can point me toward another Mary style blog - maybe a Danish one? - I'd love it... it appears stylishmary.com has closed.  I do read The Royal Order of Sartorial Splendor already which is a really fun blog if you are interested in what the royals are wearing and like to look at tiaras.

I have found Zara's *free* shipping process to be very fast and efficient. My orders have all arrived via FedEx in about three days or so and they email order and shipping confirmations and tracking numbers.  They appear to ship out of Massachusetts but there is a foreign transaction fee from my credit card - this percentage varies by cc company - mine is 1%.

  3. I've been eyeing this for awhile - thanks so much for sharing the pics! I was worried it would be too long but it might not be. Size question - do you know how the size compares to the J. Crew schoolboy (or other blazers)? I take a 2 but haven't been sure if I should go with xs or s for Zara.

    1. Luxette - thanks for stopping by! I have a couple J Crew blazers from 2-3 yrs ago and I just checked them and they are 4's; I also have a 4 in one of the recent Banana Republic blazers and tend to wear Small or 4 in those brands, sometimes a 6 in other brands. This Zara blazer, as well as the red one I posted earlier are Mediums and seem to fit about the same. Hope this helps!

Nice to hear the tips about Paypal. I'll have to try that.

    1. Hi! Thanks so much. I just added a picture at the bottom of my most recent post (Sept 2) showing it against some white paper for reference. I would call it ivory or a light cream. Definitely not a true white. :)
