Seersucker, Hot Tools, and a Delivery

I bought a basic seersucker blazer on super sale at Talbots a couple years ago but for some reason hadn't worn it.  I can't believe I just cut the tags off this morning... I'm going to be wearing this one a lot. (Pic below... not the exact one in the Polyvore.)  It's pretty classic and unlined and lightweight.  Our weather has turned a little cool lately, but it's still sunny so I thought this would be perfect.

I'm also wearing curls today because I saw some comments on Pretty in Pink Megan's blog recommending the Hot Tools curling iron and went out and bought a 1 1/4" barrel Gold Curling Iron (item #6501778 at Ulta).  It's great.  My hair is still wavy at the end of the day.  This  pic is from this morning when I just quickly wound up some curls while supervising three kids having breakfast and getting dressed for school (plus a recuperating husband).  I'll get better at it when I have some time to play with it.

Also, an exciting delivery arrived today from Links of London. I need daylight to get some better pics to post of the earrings.  They are just lovely... delicate and feminine.  Very happy with them.  Didn't they wrap the box nicely?!

Happy Thursday!

xoxo

  3. The earrings do look pretty so I took the plunge and ordered a pair as well as a charm for my 'sweetie' bracelet. I had a £25 off voucher which helped immensely. Hope they look as gorgeous IRL as they do on the website.

  4. Dear Sparrows&Sparkle,
the jacket looks lovely! Sometimes it happens to me too: having bought something - and only in the next year I get the knack to wear and love it. The curls look good!

  5. Hair looks awesome. My 1" normal curler does not seem to be doing it's job but maybe I need to whack off several inches.
