I have family in Japan. Thankfully, safe.
I hear that the American Red Cross is working day and night in efforts to help with the devastation there. If anyone is interested, here is donation information that the Red Cross recently tweeted:
In US u can text REDCROSS to 90999 to give $10 for Japan earthquake and Pacific Tsunami. Online: http://bit.ly/cNuH67#helpJapan
You can follow them on Twitter at @RedCross.

Dear Sparrows and Sparkles,
ReplyDeleteso good that your family is safe - and so deeply sad for all those people who are not. We have friends in Japan, and they are safe too - but thinking of all those one cannot help - it is good that we can donate a bit, and pray, because efforts put together will become more powerful.
Glad your family is safe and pray for their continued safety. Same for your friends, Britta.
ReplyDeleteYou must be so relieved to hear that your family are safe...
ReplyDeletethe news is just so sad these days.
My heart goes out to all the people of Japan... especially those immediately affected by this terrible disaster. I am glad that your family is safe!
ReplyDeleteSo glad your family is safe! I have friends there and I can't imagine what this time has been like for them.

My thoughts go out to you and your family -- so glad they are safe! I am so sad about the devastation in Japan, it's painful to see the effects nature can bring to even a developed first-world country.
