Anyone else think J Crew did a great job with March?
Over the past few seasons I'll admit I'd been losing interest in J Crew. Much of the clothing and styling just wasn't appealing to me. That's all over with this month's catalog. I've found several pieces that would work effortlessly into my Spring wardrobe... and also some inspiration for styles and color combinations for similar pieces that could be found at lots of shops. Here are some looks I particularly like:
So that up-an-hour-earlier is not the most fun for the kids... dark and rainy this morning. I think I'll be drinking a lot of tea today and looking forward to a Poirot or some film noir and a fire tonight.

Love your picks. Great colors! OT, but I was wondering about the fit of your LK Bennetts. Are they TTS? They are now available at Nordstrom and I can't get them out of my mind. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThanks! Pretty TTS... I usually wear an 8 1/2 and have two pairs of Maddox in 39 (suede and patent). One pair of LKBs I have ran small and I took a 40 so I think their styles can vary. The good thing about Nordstrom is free shipping and easy exchanges :)

ReplyDeleteWe have the same weather around here. Last Sunday I "had" to bake shortbread-cookies. To accompany the tea. Ever since I bought my new pot I am so into tea-drinking. I even prefer tea over coffee in the morning!

I know what you mean about J. Crew, I either love everything in the catalog or I'm not feeling any of it. I bought one of the colorblocked striped t-shirts in January (to wear in summer), and I'm glad I did, I think they sold out of them. Now I'm waiting for the No. 2 pencil skirt in Casablanca blue to go on sale! And I tried on the linen tipped blazer in natural with black grosgrain ribbon, it's adorable. Please let it go on sale!
