OOTD 11.11.09: The Polar Bear Print Target Tee {+ the sales!}

So yesterday I didn't think I was going anywhere, but at the last minute, realized we actually did have two piano lessons in the afternoon so I threw on my new Target tee with my Misty Lavender J Crew Jackie over and felt I'd made a bit of an effort.

Love this tee - I'm going to keep an eye out for more designs like this - the slubby fabric and beading is very J Crew-esque.  Thank you to The Dishy Decorator who mentioned a green one with grayish writing - going to look for that! And, OK, Polar Bear appears to be the color - they have quite a bit out right now in this shade if you search "Polar Bear" on the Target site.  The print is a gray floral.

I didn't get a Gap F&F email, but I did print out a multiple use barcode courtesy of editorssecret on Twitter.  So I'll be visiting Gap/ON/BR on Friday! OOTD 11.10.09 {+ my latest J Crew sale box!}

So here's what was in my latest little box of sale goodies from J Crew (I have another on the way, along with a box of cute things from Gymboree for the kids, and a new Lilly dress from Splash of Pink - feels like Christmas is starting early!)

I love, love the tee and am happy with the color of the swimsuit (not always quite sure when viewing online).  The sweater is gorgeous and I especially like the fleur de lis buttons - I was a little disappointed that it is not really very pink.  The color is "Buff Pink" and I was really wanting a pale pink cardi but this is decidedly more Buff than Pink.  Still very nice.

Also, I recently came across this tee from Target.  They call it Polar Bear Print online.  Maybe I'm missing something but I don't get the name - it's a floral tee with beads.  The crew neck has a little roll to it and the slub texture is much like the J Crew tee in my order.

OOTD 11.9.09: Boots + Plaid

Rainy, rainy, rainy and cold.  Today I had a couple hours in the office, grocery store, bank, school pick-ups and, in the afternoon, six kids in my house with the playdates.  Here's what I wore (btw this coat is quite warm - love it!):

OOTD 11.8.09: Burgundy + Gray

Burgundy + Gray is another Fall favorite of mine.  Yesterday we took the kids to see Astro Boy in the afternoon and then had an early dinner at a great seafood restaurant with beautiful views of the water.  I hope you all had a lovely weekend too.  Happy Monday!

Old Navy Outerwear Sale

I ran into Old Navy yesterday. It was pretty crowded with the outwear sale and deals they have going on right now. They had lots of associates working though, and no long lines, so I picked up a darling little coat that I had seen previously (but I hadn't wanted to pay $69.50 for it). I think this was a great deal at $34.75 and am envisioning it with a tee or t-neck, slim black ankle pants and my black TB Revas or with jeans and tall black boots. I love the colors in the plaid and it is very nice construction for the price. They also had this jacket in solids, and there is a gray plaid online that I didn't see in-store.

Carlos Falchi for Target

I had heard Carlos Falchi was doing a collection for Target and accidentally happened upon it this morning when I ran in quickly for some granite cleaner and a toothbrush (my daughter's missing hers, long story).  I'm kind of liking a couple of these bags - different from what I would usually buy - but fun, and with great price points ($19.99 - $49.99).  The lining is adorable - good pics on the Target site.

Anyone have thoughts on these (or bought one?)
