I really like a vase of fresh flowers near the door to the garage... that way I go past it a lot - running in and out. If I don't have flowers, I'll put a candle here... the scent floats up the stairwell to the second floor. Lovely! Here's to a great start to the week :)
I'm with you on the fresh flowers. In spite of the Lenten shopping ban, I am still getting fresh flowers for the kitchen every other week. It makes such a difference to my state of mind since I am home so much.
ReplyDeleteLove the fresh flowers... this time of year is great, b/c you can buy things like primroses, hyacinth that are for outdoors, add a little moss and you've got instant color and fragrance that will last even longer w/ little outdoor breaks for fresh cool air. I've had primroses in for over a week and my hyacinth bulb is on week 2.
